FRESH AIR IS WHERE IT ALL BEGAN!!!

In June 2020, at a moment when the world was reckoning with injustice and people were searching for ways to act with purpose, a group of cyclists (Peloton) gathered for a ride (Peaceful) from Alki Beach Park to the Northwest African American Museum. That ride—bold, joyful, and rooted in community—sparked Peace Peloton.

Since then, Fresh Air has brought together thousands of riders—seasoned cyclists, first-timers, families, and friends, across the country—for all-level, all-ages, no-drop rides where the pace is “party pace” and the purpose is powerfully clear: economic empowerment through collective action.

Over the past five years, your pedal strokes have produced real outcomes:

  • Over $500,000 in economic impact for businesses with Black owners

  • More than 40 rides in neighborhoods across Seattle, Oakland, Washington, D.C, Chicago, Minneapolis, L.A, Boston, and beyond

  • Countless new customers introduced to local businesses

  • A growing, connected community of changemakers on two wheels

Fresh Air is a celebration of possibility, a platform for visibility, and an invitation to Do More Than Nothing

Whether you joined us on that very first ride or you’re brand new to the movement, you are welcome here. Come for the vibe, stay for the purpose, and leave with a stronger connection to your city, your neighbors, and the power of joyful resistance.

OUR RIDES ARE:

  • All ages, All levels, Fully supported, No-Drop, Party Pace, with Little Elevation (we live in Seattle), and Curated with an Aim to Accelerate the Success of New Founders and Businesses with Black Owners!

The Dopest Party on Two Wheels

Our national bike program invites cyclists of all levels on a bike ride to businesses with Black owners. We typically design the routes to explore areas of historical Black significance to educate and celebrate Black achievement.
